A Daily Prayer to St. Theresa

Dearest St. Theresa, you dedicated yourself to a
simple life of love and service to God. Inspire me
by your example as I go through this day to offer
up all my "little" acts to glorify our Beloved
Lord, and to spread your "little flowers" of love
to everyone I meet. Amen

St. Theresa, Doctor of the Church

Show us that what really matters is trust in
God. Help us to lose all self-trust and root us in
poverty, that we may be willing to go to God with
empty hands. Teach us that the whole meaning of
our existence and the one consuming desire of the
heart of God is that we should let ourselves be
loved. Help us to open ourselves to God's
inpouring of merciful love, and teach us to accept
ourselves as we are and God as He is. Amen
