NOVENA TO ST. ANTHONY
Saint Anthony, I resort to thy protection and aid and as a proof of my affection and faith, I offer this light which I shall burn every Tuesday. Comfort me in my difficulties and through lodging in the house of my Savior, intercede for me and my family that we may always hold God in our hearts and be provided for in our necessities. I beseech thee, St. Anthony, to have infinite pity in regard to the favor I ask thee (Mention Favor).
Say three Our Fathers, three Hail Marys, three Glory Be’s.
Say this nine Tuesdays in succession, lighting a candle and leaving a copy of this Prayer in church to help another soul in distress and increase the devotion which this marvelous Saint grants everything before the termination of Nine Tuesdays.
1st Tuesday - God's Personal Love Read: Psalm 139:1-18,
2nd Tuesday - God's Care for Us Read: Luke 12:22-34
3rd Tuesday - God's Mercy Read: Ephesians 1:4-23.
4th Tuesday' .- Life in God's Spirit Read: Romans 8:1-39.
5th Tuesday - Living in Union with Jesus Read: John 15:1-15.
6th Tuesday - Christian Love Read: 1:John 4:7-20
7th Tuesday - The Life of Faith Read: Hebrews 11:1-40.
8th Tuesday -. The Christian Life Read: - Colossians 3:1-17.
9th Tuesday- Living as Jesus Taught Read: Ephesians 4:17-32.
I have just completed my 6th tuesday.I am confident that my request will be granted. I'm really sorry St.Anthony that I couldnt leave a copy in church
