Prayer for A Happy Death

Jesus, Mary and Joseph I give you my heart and my soul,

Jesus, Mary and Joseph assist me in my last agony,

Jesus, Mary and Joseph may I breathe forth my soul in peace with you.

Amen.

I have seen an extension to this prayer as follows. After the Amen above say:-

Into thy hands O Lord I commend my spirit.

Lord Jesus Christ receive my soul.

I must die, I do not know when, nor where, nor how,

But if I die in mortal sin I am lost for ever,

"O Jesus have mercy on me".
Jesus, May I lead a good life,

May I die a holy death;

May I receive thee before I die,

May I say when I am dying

Jesus, Mary and Joseph, I give you my heart and my soul.

Amen.
